When Mikael Tham was looking for protective vests for his dogs, he couldn't find any on the market that met his requirements for the optimal combination of Penetration Protection - Agility - Quality. Therefore, he developed a protective vest in collaboration with Sweden's leading experts in ballistic protection - the result was Tuskproof.

FIXED SIZE OR CUSTOM-MADE? The fixed sizes fit most dogs, but some dogs may require a custom-made vest for optimal fit. This applies to breeds such as Dachshunds, ADB, dogs with long backs/short necks, and dogs with a chest circumference of less than 49 cm or more than 80 cm.
PROTECTION AGAINST WILD BOAR TUSKS The puncture protection is made of Dyneema, an expensive but incredibly strong fiber that is lightweight, water-repellent, and UV-stable. Through extensive testing and hard-earned practical experience, we now use a graded protection with 3 to 5 layers of puncture resistance. This is extremely important, as we know that several thin layers protect better than a thick one. Wild boar tusks slide over layer after layer and are eventually caught.
SMOOTH AND LIGHTWEIGHT Despite this, Tuskproof offers very high protection against penetration and covers a large area of the dog. The dog also does not need to get used to the vest.
